CRYSTAL JOURNEY MALA

The Crystal Journey Mala is a mala that celebrates our personal love and journey with crystals. I fell in love with stones and crystals at a very early age. As long as I can remember, my favorite sections in museums were the gemology and fossil rooms filled with the different stones that came from our Earth, each with it's own fascinating character and properties. I didn't know then, or for a long time after, that I was innately drawn to these and that it truly was my calling to be a part of crystal healing. The most amazing thing now is that I see it in my children. Both my sons love and appreciate the beauty of nature. They point out the little things that surprise even me. They call my beads and the rocks they find treasures, and it's true they do treasure them. They keep them in special places and they are never forgotten but actually brought out as piece of interest for guests and to help each other feel better when a gesture of light is needed. I hope they continues their love for this, as have I, for a lifetime. What is your story in this crystal journey? 

Morganite with its soft sweet colors embodies the first pale rays of sunrise that swells the heart and warms the soul, releasing a sense of smallness in a vast universe and opening to the overwhelming presence of something greater. This is a crystal of love. It brings healing, compassion, assurance and promise. Morganite is highly beneficial for cultivating the human spirit and allowing one’s personality to consciously align with the ethereal soul. Its energy is forever attuned to  love and reminds us we are all connected and part of a larger plan. Blue Aventurine combines the elements of Wind and Water in a gentle stone that resonates from the mind to the heart, working calmly, rationally, and steadily. Blue Aventurine helps calm and relax fiery emotions, allowing one to be less affected by external influences and to be more in control and at peace within oneself. It provides better focus and concentration, and lends the courage needed to take an honest look at how one’s thoughts and actions have affected their current reality, and how best to move forward in improving or continuing those patterns. By accepting responsibility for one’s own life, it makes it possible to reclaim personal power and bring about one’s own emotional healing and well-being. Amazonite supports these qualities and elevates the healing water qualities. The guru in this piece is a very rare antique Victorian glass bead from the 1800s. The ends are frosted and etched with a floral rose and leaves pattern. Exquisite and in amazing condition for it's age. I thought this was a perfect mala to highlight this beauty. 

This mala is made with 8 mm faceted Morganite, Blue Aventurine, Amazonite, and Cloud Quartz beads totaling 108 in number. Faceted Rose Quartz nugget markers are placed after the 27th positions in the Tibetan style in this piece to gently remind you where you are in your meditation and mantras as well as bring a natural flow to the piece.  The piece is finished with a rare antique Victorian glass guru bead and Clear Quartz and Amazonite accents. The mala is hand knotted and finished off with a beautiful silk tassel, hand made by me.
