THE CLARITY OF VOID MALA

The Clarity of Void Mala was first inspired by the incredibly clear Clear Quartz guru. I brought home a whole strand this weekend. I was immediately drawn to these incredible pieces and plan for them to be the anchor of a series of malas that are deeply personal to me over the course of this year. This piece, as its name suggests, is about the clarity that comes from emptiness, or a void. Looking into the Clear Quartz, it is easy to understand how this is such a powerful master crystal. It is highly programmable because it is not filled with inclusions or other properties. This is the beauty of emptiness. Thinking about release and letting go of the things that are holding us in a negative frame of mind or in a place in our lives where we want to move on from, it is the letting go that brings us clarity and removes from blockages. During mediation, we strive to release our thoughts and emotions to become a vessel to accept a more enlightened state. I chose mostly neutral tones for this piece as a duality of light and shadow. What is the color of nothingness? I also felt drawn include a pop of color here because in my recent experiences, there is always something to be found in the absence of our senses. Look closely at each stone included here. There is so much beauty to behold and many are personal favorites of mine put together, it is an extremely powerful piece. Under the guru is a special carved Amazonite with the symbol of longevity. For me this is another powerful symbol of duality for the opposite of nothing is everything, which is infinite.

The Clarity of Void Mala is made with 8 mm genuine Hypersthene, Clear Quartz, Gray Chrysoberyl Cat’s Eye, Hematite, flashy White Moonstone, and Larimar beads. Clear Quartz side markers and a Lapis Lazuli top marker are placed at the 27th stations in the Tibetan style in this piece to gently remind you where you are in your meditation and mantras as well as bring a natural flow to the piece. The piece is hand knotted and finished with the clearest of Clear Quartz guru beads with a very special carved Amazonite focal bead with Longevity symbol. It is finished with a tassel handmade by me. Made with loving intention for you.
