The third chakra is called Manipura, which means “lustrous gem.” Located around the navel in the area of the solar plexus (for which it also takes it name) and up to the breastbone, it is a source of personal power and governs self-esteem, warrior energy, and the power of transformation. The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra. It is associated with ones self esteem and personal power. Strong third chakra reflects the ability to move forward in life with confidence and power. It reflects the ability to make conscious choices to choose and to act. The message of the third chakra energy is that you have the power to choose your path in all aspects of life.  Being about the self, affirmations directed toward self worth are particularly right for this chakra.

The Third Chakra Manipura/Solar Plexus Chakra Mala was an amazing piece to put together. It is made with an incredibly beautiful golden Honey Tiger's Eye, faceted Citrine, and Gold Angel Aura Quartz 8 mm beads totaling 108 in number. Star cut Citrine markers are placed after the 27th positions in the Tibetan style in this piece to gently remind you where you are in your meditation and mantras as well as bring a natural flow to the piece. The piece is hand knotted and finished with a gorgeous Gobi Jade guru bead. Gold vermeil findings are used throughout. It is finished with a golden silk tassel handmade by me.
