OCEAN MUSE MALA

The Ocean Muse Mala is another piece that honors the sea. Our Earth is special because of the water that is present. This water is our connection to the origins of life and I believe that we all feel that innately. When we are close to the sea, we feel connected to our past and it gives us a renewed spirit. It is cleansing and uplifting. Made with two types of Mother of Pearl and a local Oahu shell guru, this piece honors my connection to the waters that surround my island home. I love creating these pieces to send out into the world because they are filled with the natural light energy that I feel living is such a special place. I used Apatite to represent the deep blue oceans of the Pacific and bits of Gold Aura as the glints of sun off its waters. This piece, as with all my malas, is also made with a piece of my heart.

The Ocean Muse Mala is a hand knotted Mala made with seed shaped Brown Mother of Pearl, White Mother of Pearl, Gold Angel Aura Quartz, and Blue Apatite 7-8 mm beads totaling 108 in number. Abalone Shell inlaid Rosewood 6 mm beads are placed after the 27th positions in the Tibetan style in this piece to gently remind you where you are in your meditation and mantras as well as bring a natural flow to the piece. The piece is hand knotted and finished with a lovely Shell guru collected locally from the North Shore of Oahu. The tassel is custom blended silk handmade by me.
