UNIVERSE WITHIN MALA

The Universe Within Mala celebrates the complexity of each of us on an individual level. One that is so complex that we even have to study ourselves for years to even have a good grasp on all the layers of our what makes up who we are. This mala is made of different Agate crystals. Agates are one of my favorites as they are similar in that there is no end to the beauty of each piece with layers upon layers of individual lines that define their own histories. I could stare at Agates all day and often find myself keeping stashes of them around me because I do find them so special. This piece is paired with Smoky Quartz, which here represents the vastness of space and Sunstone which, as its namesake, bring loving warmth and life vitality. The Selenite markers here represent to me the stars in the night sky. Within each of us lies the vastness of the Universe. Yet, we are minute in the wholeness of the Universe itself. Contemplating such scales always leave me with wonder.

We are everything and nothing. 

The Universe Within Mala is made with 8 mm Australian Agate, Smoky Quartz, Botswana Agate, and Sunstone beads totaling 108 in number. Selenite markers are placed after the 27th positions in the Tibetan style in this piece to gently remind you where you are in your meditation and mantras as well as bring a natural flow to the piece. The piece is finished with a mesmerizing and soothing elongated Banded Agate guru. The mala is hand knotted by me and finished with a custom blended cotton tassel, also hand made by myself.
